The SITREK Group marked another significant milestone as it celebrated its 49th Anniversary and Annual Awards Ceremony on 23rd July 2026 at Grand Maitland, bringing together employees from across the Group to honor the people whose dedication has shaped nearly five decades of trusted service.
More than an annual celebration, the event served as a reminder that the strength of the SITREK Group has always been its people. From frontline security personnel and logistics professionals to nurses, technologists, couriers and corporate teams, every employee plays an important role in delivering the high standards that clients have come to expect from the organization.
The evening was attended by the Group’s Directors, management team and employees, beginning with traditional ceremonial proceedings before guests were welcomed to an evening that celebrated achievement, loyalty and shared success. Addressing the audience, Joint Group Managing Directors Mr. Jeevaka Wijesinghe and Mrs. Minoli Wijesinghe reflected on the organization’s remarkable journey and acknowledged the resilience, professionalism and commitment demonstrated by employees throughout the past year. They also shared their vision for the future as the Group prepares to enter its landmark 50th year.
